How This Policy Applies to Our Services

This Policy applies where Woollemia Infosec decides why and how personal data is processed. Where we process data solely on a client's instructions, or a signed client agreement states otherwise, that agreement prevails for the engagement.

Using the Site does not amount to consent to every use described in this Policy. Where the law requires consent, we will request it clearly. This Policy does not authorise penetration testing or any other security testing, which begins only after written authorisation, an agreed scope and rules of engagement.

No Implied Authorization

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not disclose enquiry details to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Section 07

7Client data and security engagements

Cybersecurity work can involve confidential systems and high-risk information.

Woollemia Infosec handles Client Data under the applicable proposal, statement of work, rules of engagement, data-processing terms, non-disclosure agreement and client instructions. We test only authorised targets, restrict access to personnel with a business need, and share findings only with contacts approved by the client.

We use secure channels for sensitive information and follow the agreed retention or deletion schedule. We never name a client or disclose its vulnerabilities, systems, findings or results without permission. Any de-identified material used for methodology improvement or case studies remains subject to contractual safeguards against re-identification.

Clients must share only data they are authorised to share and must flag any special handling requirements before transfer. Where we act as a processor or service provider, individuals' requests may need to be directed to the client that controls the data.

Section 08

8International data transfers

Where Your Personal Data May Be Processed

Woollemia Infosec is based in India and may use personnel or service providers in other countries (for example, our SOC operations in Singapore), so personal data may be processed outside the country where it was collected. Where cross-border transfer rules apply, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, access restrictions, security controls and vendor due diligence, and we comply with any legal restrictions on transfers.

Section 09

9Data security

Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal data.

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards against unauthorised access, use, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. Depending on the risk, these may include access controls, least-privilege permissions, strong authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, secure transfer channels, logging and monitoring, backups, vulnerability management and vendor oversight.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If a personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate, contain and remediate it, and notify affected individuals and authorities where the law requires.

Section 10

10Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver services, meet contractual commitments, comply with the law, resolve disputes and maintain security records.

Kept for the time needed to respond and conduct reasonable follow-up.
